Glaucoma – Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that damage the optic nerve, the part of the eye that sends visual information to the brain. Macular degeneration is the leading cause of vision loss in people over the age of 60. Dr. Katz heads the national clinical trials for AMD, making him the ideal macular degeneration specialist to call if you need AMD treatment.
Diabetic Retinopathy – Diabetic retinopathy is a serious eye condition that can lead to vision loss or blindness. It is caused by damage to the blood vessels in the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye.
