Dr. Megan A. Rowlands specializes in the treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. She is proficient in the latest minimally invasive glaucoma surgery techniques, glaucoma laser procedures, and traditional incisional glaucoma surgeries. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Rowlands completed her undergraduate education at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD in 2009 and earned a Masters of Public Health Degree at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 before receiving her Doctorate of Medicine, Cum Laude, in 2016 from Yale University in New Haven, CT.

The multi-award-winning physician then completed her Ophthalmology residency at the New York University School of Medicine, followed by a Glaucoma Fellowship at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

A well-published author in her field, Dr. Rowlands has presented numerous lectures on her findings at national meetings. She is proficient in Spanish.  A South Florida native, when Dr. Rowlands isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and going to the beach.
