Jason J. Gorscak, M.D.
Refractive Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma & Comprehensive Ophthalmologic Care
Dr. Gorscak focuses on comprehensive eye care at Florida Eye Microsurgical Institute, including diagnosing and treating cataract conditions, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. He also specializes in diagnosing and removing both benign and malignant tumors of the eyelids. As the newest member of the Florida Eye team, Dr. Gorscak has already established himself as a caring, dedicated physician in Palm Beach County.
Originally from Kinnelon, New Jersey, Dr. Gorscak attended Johns Hopkins and then obtained his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. He then completed his ophthalmologic residency at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey before joining Florida Eye in 2008.
Dr. Gorscak has already collected several awards and honors, including the 2004 University of Miami School of Medicine Alpha Omega Alpha Award. He has also served as a Research Assistant with the Department of Ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, a Research Coordinator with Becton Dickinson in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, and as a Research Assistant at John Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, MD.
Associated with several professional organizations, including the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, Dr. Gorscak is affiliated with Bethesda Memorial Hospital and Wellington Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Gorscak has published numerous articles in a variety of medical journals and conducts presentations on various ophthalmologic conditions, study findings, and has recommended treatments to colleagues since 2002.
In his spare time, Dr. Gorscak spends time enjoying the Florida weather and playing golf, tennis and motorsports.
